My story

Birthday: November 13, 2016 Mitzi is a very special soul. When her mom and dad passed away, their family couldn’t take care of her.  As a result, she was taken in by a foster family. She was scared at first, but with some patience and love, she has opened up into the most affectionate, spunky girl.   Mitzi is the perfect little companion.  She'll climb up onto your lap or curl up next to you while you snuggle up with a good book. Once she’s comfortable with you, she'll kindly ask for with head rubs, meow, and might reward you with an occasional little kiss!  Because of her ‘potato-like’ figure, she frequently tries to roll over but can’t quite make it, so she’ll just roll from side to side. She tends to do this when she’s happy to see you or just content in general. She enjoys rolling around and rubbing her head on the carpet to show you how cute she is. She will "talk" to you when she wants pets and will use her paw or foot to slowly push your hand away when she decides she no longer wants pets. But the latter will rarely happen, once she gets to know you!   She really is a wonderful cat with a lot of love to give. She’s affectionate, low maintenance, sweet, and silly. We affectionately call her a little sweet potato.  Mitzi's adoption donation is $75 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
