My story

DIAMOND IN THE RUFF: Arlo is a gorgeous boy who has so much love to give. He found his way to ARF after being abandoned on a rural road in Texas with the help of our partner X-port Paws and support from The Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare. His puppies and their Mom along with him, a brave group of teens took their time and finally captured Arlo after a week of dedication. Arlo’s past is unclear, but we know he’s been through a lot. Arlo is very fearful and slow to trust. It will take him some time and a lot of treats (especially string cheese) for him to learn new people are safe. Special care and management must be taken with Arlo in his new home. Once Arlo trusts you, he is an absolute love bug! He loves to lay on your lap, snuggle, and overall be your best friend.
