My story

Hi, I’m Sunfyre! Life didn’t start out easy for me, but I’ve got a big heart and even bigger dreams of finding my forever home. I’m a sweet and loving boy who adores kiddos—I’m super gentle around them and don’t jump or roughhouse when they’re near. I also get along great with other dogs, but I’m not a fan of cats. And let’s be honest, squirrels and bunnies really get my attention—they’re like little space invaders that I feel the need to chase (I’m working on it!). Toys aren’t totally my thing, but I’ll happily join in the fun if my foster fur siblings are playing. What I really love is being with my people, soaking up all the love and attention I can get. Who doesn’t love to be loved, right? I’m a medium-energy guy, so a nice walk around the neighborhood or a fun car ride is right up my alley. I also enjoy running errands with my humans or just relaxing on the patio. My dream home would have a human who works from home so I can be their sidekick all day long. While I’m crate-trained and will sleep through the night, it’s not my favorite place to be—I’d much rather be close to my people.
