My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together!I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me.I don't always like to share my food, toys or bedding with other animals.I would do best in a home with only adult humans.A volunteer writes: Silly, snuggly and so much fun. Violet loves to chase toys and smoosh against her "hooman" for maximum contact. An expert splooter, she plays with her toys in her small kennel like a good girl. She had passers-by with their dogs smile at us as she sat quietly by my side or perked up for a tasty treat. Violet is an excitable love bug with much joy to share. Could you be her new family today?My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: All she wants is pets, she might be a shortie but she jumped into the car no problem, she was also able to jump into bed and promptly pushed me over to lie on my chest for belly rubs. It was a hysterical position and she was so loving. She did have some mouthiness- but it was more to say come back and keep petting me!!! She responded to a "no" and I was able to resume giving her all the love she deserves. She seems mostly potty trained. She also really didn't notice my chinchilla except for some initial sniffs at the cage and then went on to explore the rest of the room. Once she was eye level with the chinchilla she watched her for a bit and was very easily redirected away from the chinchilla and out of the room. Primary Color: Brown Weight: 57 Age: 5yrs 5mths 3wks
