What my friends at ACC say about me:I have lived with cats in my previous home.I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing.Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.Garfield Lasagna was in the back of the cubby hunched with very large pupils and a tense body. He refused to sniff treats, but he did allow petting while remaining tense. He seemed to have warmed up very slightly, but generally remained tense during the entire evaluation. He's a sweet boy who needs more time.Garfield Lasagna tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that he go to a home with some cat experience preferred and be well counseled in fearful cat behavior.
