Meet Bonnie, a young girl with a personality as warm as a freshly baked cookie. Her energy is infectious, her curiosity endearing, and her intelligence is nothing short of remarkable. She weighs 38 pounds and likes car rides, fetch, running, toys, walks, and wrestling. Bonnie has a knack for collecting sticks, a hobby that showcases her playful and curious nature. She`s a natural comedian, her antics are sure to keep you laughing. But when playtime is over, Bonnie transforms into the perfect quiet lap dog. Her cuddly and affectionate nature makes her the ideal companion for those cozy nights in. She has already earned the sit, come, paw, lay down, and spin commands but will need help with house training and leash walking. Bonnie`s lovable nature and unique quirks, like her unexpected fondness for coffee, make her a delightful addition to any home. Despite her friendly and playful nature, Bonnie can be a bit rough with other dogs and jumpy around children but she loves them all. She needs companions who can provide her with the love and patience she needs to grow. She also needs a lot of activities and mental stimulation to keep her happy. She doesn`t like being confined and gets bored easily. She was only given up because of her owner`s military transfer. Adopt Bonnie and let her fill your life with joy, laughter, and an abundance of sticks.FOSTER NOTES:Bonnie is enjoying a break at her foster home to brush up on her training and get ready for her forever home. She is showing that she may not need much training because she is housetrained, crate trained and leash trained, and gets along very well with the other dog (Metamorpho, 2 years, 28 lbs, also available for adoption). She has free roam of the house when the family is home but stays in the crate otherwise, for up to five hours without accidents. She`s shy, a bit timid and looks for guidance from her humans during walks, typical of her age. She likes to play with the other dog all the time and that`s an area of improvement. Bonnie will be a wonderful companion for her forever family. Please contact her foster, Ram at 281-202-9076 or CAPdogfoster@gmail.com for any questions or to meet her.
