My story

    adoption donation : $699 weight  40 lbs  Age 7 months as of 1/6        Austin is a gorgeous pup who is part of a litter that seemed to be Irish wolfhound mixes, they were mostly scruffy face pups although Austin looks more like a black lab. Austin and his  siblings were dumped at a gas station in a rural part of Mississippi when they were quite young, they were starving when the Wags director  found them and took them in to the rescue. She nursed them back to health and gave them the vet care they needed and all five are now healthy and happy puppies, running and playing and snuggling together in a big puppy pile to nap.      Austin is an absolute doll, he is friendly and loving and gets along with everyone, he loves to play with the other dogs at the rescue and will make a wonderful family dog. Austin is house trained at Wags but like any rescue may need a refresher course while he adjusts to a new home.    Austin is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines and ready for loving family of his own. We’re hoping to bring Austin and his sisters  up to the northeast next Saturday, February 8      Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use.
