My story

This handsome young man is Simba and he’s ready to take his place as the king of your heart! Estimated to be around seven months old, he was transferred to ARF from an overcrowded shelter in mid-January. We don’t know much about his past, but we do know that his tipped ear suggests he was part of a Trap, Neuter, and Return (TNR) program. That means he was likely once a street cat, but someone saw his sweet nature and decided he deserved more than life outdoors—and we agree! Simba is eager to find his forever home. He’s young and full of energy. He’s also got a calm, affectionate side when people have earned his trust. Come to meet him! The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com.
