Thank you for your interest in adopting a cat or dog. We are open for adoption by appointment Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday-Sunday we are open for walk-in visitors from 11 to 3:00. I’m a tuxedo kitty, and I have the most striking black and white fur, just like a little gentleman. I have to admit, I’m still a bit shy and nervous right now. The shelter is a little overwhelming, so I might not come running up to greet you right away. But if you give me some time and patience, I promise I’ll open up and show you my sweet side.I’m still getting used to everything, but I can already tell that I love being around kind people who understand that I need a little space to feel safe. Once I trust you, I’ll be your quiet, loyal companion. I might take a few days (or maybe even a week or two) to settle in, but when I do, I’ll be the most loving and gentle kitty you could ever ask for. If you’re patient and willing to let me come to you in my own time, I know we’ll be the best of friends. I may not be the first to jump into your lap, but when I do, I’ll stay there and never leave your side. Could you be the one to help me find my confidence and my forever home? I’d love to be a part of your family.
