My story

Meet Stella! This beautiful three-year-old girl weighs 22 pounds and is a unique mix of Shar-Pei, small Poodle, and Golden Retriever, according to her breed test. Stella is the perfect companion who adapts to your pace—ready to play when you want, relax on the couch for cuddles, or simply hang out nearby while chewing on her favorite toy or durable stuffy. She feels cozy and secure in her crate when you’re away, snuggling up with her bed and blanket. Social and gentle, Stella enjoys the company of other dogs and has shown curiosity and kindness toward a cat she met. She’s currently thriving in a foster home with a large dog, loving human “pawrents,” and a teenager. Stella knows a few commands already and, being highly food motivated, is eager to learn more tricks and obedience. She alerts you politely when someone is at the door but quickly settles down. On leash, she walks nicely, sniffing around and keeping an eye on her surroundings. With her low to moderate energy level, Stella is perfectly happy with a daily short walk and lots of affection—but she’s flexible and ready to join in whatever adventures her new family enjoys. Plus, she has a playful personality and absolutely loves dress-up time, whether it’s sweaters or costumes. If Stella sounds like the perfect fit for your home, apply today and discover all the wonderful things this sweet girl has to offer! Follow Stella's adventures on her Instagram: www.instagram.com/icare_stella If you are interested in adopting, please visit the I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue website and complete an adoption application: www.icaredogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter • shots up to date • micro-chip • fecal and vet check Breeds and age are not guaranteed.
