My story

Meet Stella! This stunning girl is a three-year-old, 22-pound mix of Shar-Pei, Poodle (small), and Golden Retriever (according to her breed test). She will do what you want to do with her; play when you want to play, relax on the couch with you when you want, but she is also happy to just be in the same room as you and chew on a toy or durable stuffy. When you are away, she is content in her crate because she finds it cozy and comfy with her bed and blanket. Stella is dog social and likes to be around other dogs, curious and gentle with one cat she met, and currently fostered in a home with a large dog and human "pawrents" and a teenager.  Stella knows a few commands so far, and considering she is food motivated she will take to more commands and tricks. She barks to alert you at the door and will quiet again shortly. She walks well on a leash and likes to sniff and is observant to what is around. She is low to mid energy and is fine inside with at least a short walk a day, but she's adaptable to whatever her new family would like to do. She truly has the most fun personality and loves to play dress up. Sweaters or costumes - bring it on! If Stella sounds like a good match, apply for her and then you can discover even more about this sweet dog. Follow Stella's adventures on her Instagram: www.instagram.com/icare_stella If you are interested in adopting, please visit the I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue website and complete an adoption application: www.icaredogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter • shots up to date • micro-chip • fecal and vet check Breeds and age are not guaranteed.
