My story

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Liel💝 Liel had been staying on the street and was brought to the Jeonju City Shelter. Meanwhile, the Jeonju City Shelter was closed, and she was assigned to a veterinary clinic with #AdogsLian and placed on the euthanasia list. Adogs urgently rescued her without any delay to save her. • With People: Liel is curious but cautious around new people. If given time and space to explore at her own pace, she warms up well. With people she knows, she becomes very affectionate and loves being close. • With Dogs: She can get overwhelmed by large or overly energetic dogs, but does well with similarly sized or smaller dogs. She carefully approaches bigger dogs to sniff, but prefers calmer company. When she forms bonds with dog friends, she becomes deeply attached and even whines when saying goodbye. • With Cats: She shows curiosity and tries to approach, so supervision is needed when interacting with cats. • Separation Anxiety: Generally does well alone. She may briefly whine near the door but quickly settles down to rest. • Potty Training: She consistently uses pee pads indoors at set times and locations. She prefers to poop outside when given the chance. • Grooming & Handling: She doesn’t love baths or drying, but she tolerates them with reassurance. She enjoys gentle brushing—especially when lying on her favorite cushion. • Walks & Leash Training: Liel is very curious and loves sniffing during walks. She may pull on the leash when excited, especially when encountering unfamiliar environments, loud sounds, or crowded places. She sometimes freezes or shakes when scared, so a calm walking route and desensitization training are helpful. She also gets excited when seeing dogs or cats and wants to approach. • Car Rides: She can get motion sick on longer rides (around 1 hour) and may pant or show discomfort. 💌Special Notes💌 • Knows “Sit” and “Wait” • Grain-based food may not suit her—currently being monitored • Has a big appetite, so she uses a slow feeder bowl • May bark or whine when she sees another dog she wants to greet or hears unfamiliar sounds—training is ongoing to prevent demand barking • Sometimes softly growls when an unfamiliar man enters the house, but calms down when allowed to sniff and greeted gently • Enjoys gentle nibbling during play. When excited, she may nip at feet or ankles playfully—this is being addressed through redirection and training • Startles easily at loud noises or sudden movements • Bright and quick to learn, with a curious and adventurous spirit—she enjoys exploring and picking up new routines ❗Health Status❗ * Spayed: Done * Tested negative for heartworm Foster's IG: @chaka_nuna

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Liel, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
