Violet of Fourth Wing

My story

Violet and her littermates were found on a family property in San Antonio, TX on the same night snow and Sleet were in the forecast. They spent the night in a chicken coop and then found their way to their foster mom in the city so they could stay cozy in the laundry room for the cold snap.  Named after the main character in the Fourth Wing series, Violet is poised and playful. A little more timid than the rest, she's happy to hang back or jump into the frey. She shares a kennel with her buddy Liam and they get along well. Foster mom feeds both in that kennel at the same time with no issues. She's a bit of an escape artist and will need a non climbable fenced yard. Not fully potty trained, but doing great! Will use potty pads. Good with dogs, and my older kids (11, 16). Has not had exposure to little kids or cats yet! Violet is one of the only two females of the seven Fourth Wing puppies- she is black with a white chest patch, while Andarna is all black and tan. Violet is super sweet. The seven puppies of Fourth Wing were born around the beginning of December 2024. Some of the guesses of what these babes are include Shepherd, Pyrenees (Andarna, Bodhi and Brennan have double dewclaws, Ridoc has rear dewclaws), Rottweiler, perhaps Lab because Brennan and Xaden really love the water and some of their vocalizing resembles Husky. The puppies of Fourth Wing are being fostered in San Antonio, Texas while they get all their vetting complete in order to travel to Denver, Colorado.
