**Fostered in Tacoma, WA and ready for meet and greets!** Meet Mochi! She is currently 6 months old, and we think she may be a Pit Bull/Staffordshire Terrier mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Mochis foster mom calls her an inquisitive little girl, always following her around the house like her little shadow. She even follows the older dogs around the house, learning from them. She doesn’t quite understand why the senior dogs she’s fostered with don’t like to play like she does, but she’s understanding different play styles as a result— which is awesome! She does the funniest thing, she sits on top of the dogs, putting her paws on them and maybe catching a quick nap. She has to be touching one of her siblings to go to sleep. They have accepted that that’s just mochi, so in love with everyone that she’s gotta be right next to you! See Mochi in action right here! https://youtu.be/KRhaVA5rq5Y?si=tLP4WmpL51PlRUJj Mochi is very intelligent, and she runs straight to her crate when it’s time for dinner. Her foster is working with her on learning sit, dinner, potty, etc. She’s mastering them with ease, getting ready for her forever family! She also is one of the special doggos that loves baths, so she’s super squeaky clean! She even waits for her foster mom to get out of the shower so she can go in and get in the water! Mochi will also help you clean, and has earned the title of clean up crew in her foster home. She sits at her foster mom’s feet while she cooks, and if she drops something— you guessed it— Mochi is cleaning the floor! She is a wonderful dog to take in public and is always a 10/10 at adoption events. She is a queen on a leash! She is also a perfect passenger princess— she will happily accept snacks and then lay down to nap for the rest of the time. Mochi even got to go on a 5 day camping trip and stay in a trailer with the 3 other family dogs! She loved being able to visit people and she even got to play with another puppy on her trip! She went on a 3 mile hike, and was a very good girl too. At night, she cuddled up in a big bunk bed with her foster momma and her foster siblings. What a fun little getaway! Mochi is playful, sweet, curious, and very cuddly. Mochi is the only white pup in her litter and her markings are so distinctive. This sweet girl has black spots on her bright white that are rimmed in grey, and we are sure that her cute black freckles will take you out (they did for us - it's absolutely our favourite part lol). Mochi is quite the brave explorer but prefers to have you close by, just in case you want to deliver some hugs and rubs (you will, and Mochi will lap up all the affection you give her). Mochi will give you kisses in return for all the snuggles and rubs, and we can tell you that it's absolutely worth it to get some Mochi love and see that tail wag! We love her happy and easy going personality. Her favorite toys are soft squeaky ones, and she loves to play tug-of-war with the rope ones! Eat. Sleep. Play. Repeat! Mochi is living her best puppy life and all she needs now is YOU! Mochi is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
