My story

Shane is on site at our adoption center in SoHo! This sweet boy is looking for a sunny spot of his very own in which to lounge. His foster says "He slowly warmed up to us, asking timidly for pets and gradually gaining confidence. Now he loves getting pets, playing, exploring (climbing things in particular), and he will sometimes cuddle up in your lap and purr. He is a sweet guy who is very affectionate once he gets comfortable with you. He loves to chat with you and be pet" Shane is FIV+, a condition that is not transmissible to humans and does not typically impact quality or longevity of life. Shane is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and had preventative treatments to ensure he is ready for his new home. To meet Shane, visit the Best Friends New York Soho Lifesaving Center at 307 West Broadway, New York, NY, near Canal Street. We're open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
