Hello, my dear future family! My name is Hazel, and I have the biggest heart, just waiting to be loved. I may be a little older, but that just means I have years of wisdom in the fine art of companionship. My favorite thing in the world is simply being by your side—whether we’re out on a peaceful stroll, exploring a lovely hiking trail, or curled up together in a sunbeam.I find joy in the quiet moments—the warmth of a kind hand, the comfort of a familiar voice, the soft place where I can rest my head knowing I’m safe and loved. I am house-trained, quiet, and as gentle as they come. I sleep soundly through the night and will never be a bother, only a blessing. While I appreciate a calm, mature home where I can feel secure, I promise to return the favor by being the most devoted friend you could ever wish for.Each day, I’m blossoming more and more, gaining confidence and showing my sweet, loving nature. I adore making friends and have the most tender soul. I love to bask in the sun, take in the fresh air, and—when the moment is just right—run with a youthful spirit that surprises everyone!While I’ve had positive experiences with other dogs, I truly long to be the center of someone’s world. I love deeply and wholeheartedly, and I would thrive in a home where I can be the one and only (and with no cats!).
