My story

Hi, I’m Silina! I’m a bit of a couch potato, but I’m also a sweet, independent gal who loves her downtime. I enjoy lounging around and have a few favorite spots—near the windows where I can watch the world go by, my little house, and of course, the bed where I like to curl up next to my favorite humans. I enjoy my alone time, but every once in a while, I’ll come over for some pets. When I do, I’ll purr loudly to show you just how much I appreciate it, and I even roll over to let you know I’m ready for some good long scratches. I’m very agile for my size, and I love to chase toys, especially a string. I’m pretty good at it! You’ll be impressed by my balancing skills too. I’ve been doing great at cutting back on food, so I’ve probably lost a little weight, but don’t worry—I don’t complain about it or make any messes. I’m also a pretty good listener when it comes to new people. I’m friendly and curious, though I don’t love sharing my space with other cats. I’ve had a bit of a tough time with a cat of similar size in the past, so I’d prefer to be the only cat in the house. No interactions with dogs yet, but I’m sure I’d be just fine as long as I’m not crowded.I’m very soft and love short cuddles, though I don’t really enjoy being overly affectionate all the time. I’ll come to you for some pets on my terms, but I won’t bite or scratch much—I`m really gentle. I’m also kind of quirky in the best way! I sometimes sit near you when you’re doing things—whether it’s homework or packing your suitcase. I’m just keeping you company in my own way.I’m looking for a home where I can enjoy my cozy, independent life but also get some love when I’m in the mood. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-maintenance cat who enjoys playing, cuddling in short bursts, and curling up next to you for companionship, I might be your perfect match!
