My story

Here’s a boy who could sure use a fairy tale ending! This big, sweet fella lived with one couple his whole life—then they passed away within a year of each other. There was no one in the family who could take Jake, and so here he’s sat since January, just wondering…what happened? Housebroken, friendly, and gentle, Jake still has lots of life and love to give, and just needs a place to live out his golden years. He may also do ok with another mellow dog in the house, but we always recommend slow introductions whenever introducing new pets to resident ones. As sometimes happens with older dogs, Jake’s sight is starting to dim a little, and while he gets around fine, he would probably be best in a quiet home with adults or older, school-age kids who don’t move so fast. Could you be sweet Jake’s soft place to land?
