My story

My name is Good Time Charlie and I have had a pretty interesting past year while I’ve been looking for a new home and a restart to my life.  I was found running for months through a rural neighborhood where people reported me coming into their yard and property looking for food.  Finally when the really terrible cold set in, I was found shivering in a flower bed huddled under a bush trying avoid the snow.  You see I am a 7 year old short haired Hound mix and I weigh 40 pounds now.  I used to be starving and very scared.  Now I am looking for a  home with a quiet family of mature people and not a lot of people coming and going all the time.  I just need an easy going place that I can hang out with some people that I love.  I am housebroken, kennel trained and I don’t tear things up when I am home alone.  I do have a little anxiety when you first leave but I settle down.  I get along with other dogs and even cats but when I first find a home I will need some slow introductions and time to get to know everyone.  I would love a couple who are maybe retired and ready to kick back and have me as good fulltime company.  Would you make my dream come true and give me your heart and home to prove how special I can make your life?  I am not a barker either like most Hounds and I do give my heart soul when I know you love me too.  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and ask about me.  They are happy to talk with you. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 7, 2025, 2:04 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt GOOD TIME CHARLIE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
