Pickles

My story

Hi, I’m Pickles! I found my foster family by cheerfully following one of them home during a morning walk. I was so joyful and lovable that they just had to foster me! Since then, I’ve been at home with one giant dog, two grumpy cats, four wild kids ages 6-10, and two (tired) grownups. I love so many things! These include: snuggles, belly rubs, walks, barking at other dogs, people, and squirrels through the fence, sleeping, and being close to my favorite friends. I love playing chase with the kids and they love it too! I am cheerful, energetic, loving, adorable, playful, and (mostly) obedient. When I wag my tail, I wag my whole body! I am leash- and crate-trained but still working on being potty-trained, so I need a family who is willing to stick with that. I can be shy at first but once I feel safe my true personality shines out! I would do best in a home where I have lots of attention and get to be with my family most of the time! I whine and feel anxious when I worry I’ve been left alone. I have lots of energy and would love daily walks, lots of snuggles, and maybe a dog friend or two. I am cat curious and settled down wonderfully with them once I understood the cats in my foster family were the real bosses of the house.
