My story

Meet your new co-pilot!! Pico is a sweet, happy, loving, playful 1 year old boy who is ready to be your new best friend! It’s been a little tough for him recently. After arriving at the shelter he got sick. When he got better, the nice people at DAS neutered him and treated him for those terrible heartworms. After that treatment he had to be on strict kennel rest for 6 weeks to make sure he got better. The toughest part is that he couldn’t get out of the shelter for daycations or runs, so no one got to see his amazing personality! His kennel rest time is almost done which means he is ready for the fun to begin! And boy does this boy want to have fun! He loves his toys, and often can’t decide which he wants to play with so will grab two at once. He loves to explore, is very curious about everything, but also very confident. He is ready for some serious adventures! He is completely housebroken and very good inside stores and on patios. He loves people of all ages. He still has a lot of puppy in him, and very little training, so is still learning about good dog behavior. But his foster mom says he improved every day he stayed with her. He is good with other dogs with a proper introduction. Mostly he just wants to play, play, play with all the dogs and all the toys, so he is counting down the days until the kennel rest time is over. When he is done playing, he is oh so sweet and cuddly. His motto is play hard, nap hard! Come meet Pico today! He cannot wait to see you!!
