My story

Hi there! My name's Dodger! I am a 3-year-old male Terrier/Pit mix that weighs 43 Lbs. I was found off of Twin Lakes in Rockwall on 01/26/25 & never reclaimed. So now I am looking for my new Fur-ever family. I am a super sweet boy who loves to be pampered, hugged on and told I am a handsome boy! I was diagnosed with luxating patella in both my back knees which requires surgery to fix. I have healed well from my left knee surgery and had surgery to repair my right knee on 04/16/25. After surgery, I will be able to go on short walks to help increase my mobility while I heal. I walk well on a leash and would love to be taken on walks around the park or neighborhood. I am respectful of my beds, blankets and comfy bedding. I like to take naps and would make a perfect Netflix and chill companion. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, Boosters to date and heartworm negative. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks.
