My story

Hi everyone! My name is Coco and I am a sweet, laid back 10-pound, 9 year-old female Chihuahua mix who wants nothing more than to have a home again. Cisco (also at helpadogsmile.org) and Coco were very loved little dogs, who have been lifelong friends, found themselves homeless when their trusted human had to enter memory care. These two love each other, are housetrained and just had dentals! Yes they can be separated but we would love to see them stay together. They are the odd couple with cisco with his love to be held and busy little personality while Coco is a bit more laid back...she loves to follow you around and sit with you BUT a tad wary of being scooped up!  Coco might take a min to warm up at first as I’m still a little cautious with strangers but I do warm up quickly, especially if you have a little treat you wanted to share with me. I am house-trained and my favorite thing is to sleep and watch tv with you.  I know I would make an excellent addition to your loving home.  I get along fine with small dogs in my foster home but as I am older now I don’t play as much Coco is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $350 helps offset the rescue's medical expenses. If you want to adopt both Cisco and Coco they would be $400 for the pair!
