My story

***Buddy 1 is heartworm POSITIVE as of January 14th and is on slow-kill treatment. He must be on Advantage Multi topical until he is heartworm negative. He can still be adopted at this time. We will supply adopter with 3 months of Advantage Multi to continue treatment until he is taken to a vet by adopter*** Buddy is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport in one of the cities listed below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Buddy is a male Lab mix and is around 2 years old (January 25th). -This sweet guy has been with us for nearly a year. -He is an energetic, fun-loving dog. -Has some big boy feet! -Buddy loves to hang around with his humans and get all of your attention; he is very affectionate. We think he would be good with children. -Likes other dogs -Walks on a leash -Can be tested with cats upon request. -Video of Buddy: https://youtube.com/shorts/Mz_5qshN_fs?feature=share Buddy 1 is neutered, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed, a *positive* heartworm test as of January 14th and is on Advantage Multi for slow-kill treatment. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $550 total, this is including all vetting above and $250 transport cost.
