My story

🌼 Meet Meadow 🌼 Hi there! My name is Meadow, and I’m searching for that special someone to share my heart—and my forever home—with. I was found as a stray, but now I’m safe at Heal Animal Rescue and ready to start a brand-new chapter. The vet thinks I’m about 1.5 years old, and the wonderful people here have made sure I’m up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped—so I’m all set for my next adventure! I’m a sweet and gentle soul, but I can be a little shy at first. New places and unfamiliar faces can feel a bit overwhelming for me, so I’m hoping to find a patient and understanding family who can help me build my confidence and show me that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. I may need a few visits to get comfortable with you before heading home, but I promise—I’m worth the wait. Once I feel safe, I’ll be your loyal cuddle buddy, your shadow, and your constant companion. I get along well with other dogs my size, though big pups can be a little intimidating to me. If you have a potential dog sibling in your home, a meet-and-greet is a must to make sure we’ll be the perfect match. All I want is love, safety, and someone to believe in me.
