My story

Moonshine is a gorgeous one-year-old black beauty with a brave heart. Rescued from the Bronx with her newborn kittens, this young mama has blossomed from a fearful stray into a playful, affectionate companion. She adores catnip toys, window bird-watching, and rolling around for head scratches. Though shy with new people, Moonshine deeply bonds with those she trusts. She’s great with a calm dog and a senior cat, and now curls up with her foster family for cozy naps. She’s not a fan of being picked up and may need sedation for vet visits or grooming, but she shows love in her own sweet ways—plenty of headbutts and full-body snuggles. Moonshine will thrive in a patient, quiet home with someone willing to continue her socialization journey. Her transformation has been incredible. Now she’s ready for the next chapter with her purrfect match.
