My story

Hi there! I’m Portabello, but you can call me Bello or Porto—whatever suits your vibe. I was born on 6/6/24 alongside my four awesome siblings, and we were some of the lucky ones born inside where it’s safe and cozy. I like to think of myself as a fun-guy—get it? ? Seriously though, I’m a little ball of energy and joy. My days are packed with chasing toy mice, wrestling with my pals, exploring every corner of the house, and, of course, indulging in some luxurious cat naps. I’m also a social butterfly and love making new friends! I’d be thrilled to be adopted with one of my foster bros, Lilo or Stevie—they’re total cool cats, and I promise you’ll love them too. But hey, if that’s not possible, I’d be just as happy in a forever home with a friendly, playful kitty companion. Even though I’m full of energy and curiosity, I’ve got a mellow side too. I love cuddling up for a good purr session and soaking in all the love and attention I can get. With my outgoing personality, every day is an adventure waiting to happen. If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion who will fill your home with joy and laughter, I’m your guy. Let’s make some amazing memories together! Portobello is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
