KNOWN WITH DOGS: Nala hung out with dogs of all sizes in a previous home, though she has a big entrance and playstyle that can be overwhelming for many dogs. Nala would like to meet any dog friends before moving in with them. KNOWN WITH CATS: Nala has lived with cats in the past. KNOWN WITH KIDS: Nala lived with children in a previous home, but as she has matured, she thinks she might be a better fit for a home with adults or older teenagers. KNOWN CUES: Sit, Shake, Down, Take a Bow, Touch. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Nala was crate-trained and housetrained in a previous home. She walks nicely into the crate without treats. KNOWN LIKES: Long sniffy walks, toys, people who meet her at her own speed, treats, learning new things. KNOWN DISLIKES: People who move too fast with her. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: After living in one home her whole life, Nala's owners lost their housing and she unfortunately came back to Homeward Trails. Nala initially felt stressed being back at the shelter after living her whole life with one family, but she's already won over our staff and showed just how smart she is and how cuddly she can be when she gets to know new pals. Help Nala take the next step in her journey and stop by to meet her this weekend! Nala was spayed prior to her return to Homeward Trails.
