My story

Joey was found on Christmas Day by one of our foster families. This sweet boy pretty much caught himself as he went from sitting on the side of the road with his head resting on a bench, to leashed and hopping in the car himself within five minutes. Joey knew there would be a good life waiting for him inside! Joey is about 1 year old. He was really skinny when found, but his fosters have helped him get up to his current weight of 54 pounds, but he could still use a few more. He has a sweet, goofy personality, and is dog and cat friendly. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. He is also potty and crate trained. He is a very good boy who settles in on the couch when you leave, and is still there when you come home. Joey has normal puppy energy when let outside to play, and loves playing tug with toys and tag with his foster sister. He is a smartie who knows sit, has good recall and can pick up anything with a treat or love. He mostly likes to spend his time being your little sidekick, whether as assistant coach for the other dog’s game of fetch or sous chef in the kitchen, he’ll sit right by your feet keeping you company.
