My story

Meet Cup, an 8-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who was found as a stray in Alabama and brought to Big Dog Ranch alongside his two siblings in search of a loving forever home. He’s still young and has a lot to learn, but his sweet nature and eagerness to please make him a great match for many types of homes. Cup is high energy and full of that classic puppy enthusiasm. He loves to play with toys, splash in the water, and is always ready to cuddle up after a fun-filled day. He gets along well with other dogs and is great with kids, making him a wonderful family dog in the making. Like many puppies his age, Cup is still working on housetraining, basic commands, and leash manners, but he’s food motivated and responds well to positive reinforcement. With a little time, consistency, and love, he’s sure to blossom into a well-mannered companion. Cup is still growing and adjusting to the world around him, so he’ll do well with an adopter who can offer patience and structure—even if they have little to no prior dog experience.
