My story

Meet Kinsey! She’s a friendly, loving dog who loves to play. Kinsey is described as a velcro dog who loves to lean on her person. She loves her snuffle mat and stuffy toys. Kinsey is super friendly when meeting new people and wishes she could stop and meet everyone on walks. She LOVES other dogs. Kinsey wags her tail when she sees a dog she wants to play with. She does best meeting dogs in a neutral territory and is a bit more nervous when a new dog comes into her home. Kinsey walks well on leash but is easily startled by loud noises and large vehicles. She is much more confident when being walked with another dog. Kinsey grew up in a shelter environment so she has developed a bit of resource guarding with her food and toys. Once she’s gotten to know and trust a dog, the guarding is reduced. Kinsey does really well in her crate and has been left alone for several hours without issue. She also sleeps in her crate overnight. Kinsey is completely house trained! Kinsey’s ideal home would be in a quieter home with a loving family who will provide her with lots of playtime and affection. She is looking for an adopter committed to continuing her training and to work on managing her resource guarding. Kinsey would love to share her home with a dog sibling - unfortunately no cats or kiddos please. Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Kinsey? Apply Now! https://newcollar.co/apply-to-adopt

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Kinsey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
