My story

He does NOT make any messes in his crate! TOFU was a very lucky big dog that was discovered at ACS…and we could see he has a great loving personality. He gets along with other dogs without a problem. TOFU is approx 70# and DOB is 12/1/23. We consider him a Lab mix with possibly a bit of hound in him. He is happy and loves people (see picture). He is a bit over rambunctious with cats but just wanting to play. However, he is currently in a home with dogs and a dog savvy cat and is doing fine with this cat. He does need training but has been great at learning all of these commands! He knows sit, stay, he's learned to wait to go to his food after it is put down, and has some good recall. Yes he is still young so he isn't 100% perfect but he is doing really well with commands!. He’ll be great with a family who wants a dog to go with them to the lake, taking hikes, mountain trails, etc. We saved him from the kill list in a TX shelter, He was in boarding where they adored him till rescue had an opening. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters.
