My story

Hi there, Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m Rachel. Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m a petite, soft-spoken girl with a heart full of love and a quiet charm thatâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s impossible to resist. My favorite place in the world? Curled up in your lap, soaking up affection and gazing up at you with adoring eyes. Life hasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t been the easiestâ&#194&#128&#194&#148I lost my beloved owner when they passed away, and I found myself at the shelter with nowhere else to go. But through it all, Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve stayed sweet, gentle, and kind. I donâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t scratch or bite, and Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m happiest just being near someone who cares. I am FeLV-positive, which means Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll do best in a home where Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m the only cat, or with other FeLV-positive friends. I also have slightly cloudy eyesâ&#194&#128&#194&#148likely from an old infectionâ&#194&#128&#194&#148but it doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t stop me from finding your lap or following your voice. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re looking for a calm, low-maintenance companion who just wants to be loved, I might be your perfect match. I'm not high energy or demandingâ&#194&#128&#194&#148I just want a quiet place to call home again. Come meet me at the shelter. The standard minimum donation for cats over six months to seven years is $100, kittens under six months is $150, cats eight years and over are $50 unless specified otherwise.
