Meet Summer! ☀️🐶 Summer is a sweet, affectionate, and incredibly smart pup looking for her perfect home! She’s great with kids, letting them cuddle, hold, and love on her when she’s in a calm mood. At times, she’s full of energy and ready to play, making her a wonderful companion for an active family. 🐾 Personality & Behavior: Summer is very affectionate—she loves kisses, cuddles, and will sleep with her head on your chest, arm, or leg. She’s playful and enjoys running, tug-of-war, and learning to fetch (though balls still confuse her a little!). She’s a quick learner! She already knows “NO” and “COME” and is eager to learn more. Summer is well-behaved in the car and loves joining her person on errands, shopping trips, and even restaurant patio dining. 🏡 Ideal Home: A home with easy outdoor access to support her ongoing potty training. Preferably a house with a yard (apartments or upstairs living may not be ideal for her). She adores big dogs and would thrive with a canine playmate. She needs a patient and loving adopter who will continue her training and help her feel comfortable around cars and loud noises. 🐶 Other Fun Facts: She loves playing with (and trying to befriend) cats, though they don’t always appreciate her playful energy. She is crate-trained and enjoys her crate but will need frequent potty breaks. Summer is getting better at leash walking—she loves to sniff and explore, so she needs a patient walking partner. She’s a water lover! She enjoys drinking from the shower hose and backyard hose. Summer is a loyal, loving companion who wants to be by your side. Whether it’s running errands, going on adventures, or snuggling at home, she’ll be your best friend.
