My story

Beaumont, Texas is a city of around 100,000 people, known to be a great place to enjoy fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities. There are museums and industry, but it retains its small-town, homey feel. This actually reminds us a lot of our sweet pup Beaumont; when we spend time with this friendly, snuggly guy, it just feels like “home.”Beaumont has spent time in several different foster homes- here’s what we’ve learned:- He is housetrained - He has done well with kids - He has good leash manners- He LOVES people- He knows commands like ‘sit’, ‘lay down’ and ‘here’- He loves to cuddle and to be close to his people- He is playful and energetic- He loves toys and tug o’ war- He does well in the car - He has done well with other dogs - He is well- behaved when left home alone- He is crate trained - He has done well with some cats but needs a proper intro to kitties “Beau is an AMAZING dog and just needs someone who will love him and give him attention when they are around. He also wants someone who doesn`t mind snuggling!”“Beaumont is a very energetic pup who wants to please you and be your best friend. He is easy to love and will benefit from patience and training and an active lifestyle.”Beaumont is a field trip and volunteer favorite at the shelter too- everyone loves this boy! “This dog is just amazing! Beaumont is friendly, energetic and beautiful! He was very excited to meet me at his kennel door and make our way over to a play yard. Once we got over to the yard he clamored to get up into my lap for snuggles! I wished that we were on a couch at home where we could relax and take it easy! He is so very sweet!”“Beaumont is always happy! He loves roughhousing in a play yard with his kennelmate. He’s very friendly and LOVES to be pet!”Beaumont has shared his kennel with other PACC pups and has been playful and social when meeting other dogs in playgroup.
