PICO

My story

Pico is a sweet boy with a loveable face who lost his home due to an eviction. While the shelter was a little frightening for him at first, volunteers who have taken him on Dog Day Outs say that he’s very affectionate and loves people, including the school-age kids he’s met. A little shy at first, you can win him over with treats and butt scritches, and most especially, a chance to play in the water! In his past, Pico lived with another male dog and so we think he might do fine with a canine companion, but slow introductions are always best when introducing new housemates. He appears to be house trained, knows “sit” and after he gets his energy out with some zoomies, he walks well on a leash. We think Pico would thrive in a loving, furever home—could that be yours?
