Jonas

My story

Jonas is an adorable young boy, all gray with darker gray stripes on his tail. He was trapped and ear-tipped as a stray kitten. He is VERY SKITTISH, but oh so sweet. His foster mom is still working on helping him to come out of his shell. When she pets him, it takes a few seconds for him to relax and start purring up a storm. Jonas does not come to her to be petted yet.He is playful and especially loves active play with one of his buddies in his foster home, or with the wand toy.Being with another friendly cat definitely helps Jonas to feel more secure. Jonas has been fostered with Jeremiah (see his profile) the past few months, and they get along great. Another young male cat, Puck (see his profile), joined the foster home recently and it only took a week for Jonas to start cozying up to Puck, with them grooming each other, napping together and of course, wrestling. Puck is super outgoing, so while not required, it would be wonderful if Jonas and Puck could be adopted together. His foster mom will continue to work with him, but he is available to be adopted now if the adopter is willing to give him a chance to get acclimated and continue working with him, and not give him up if he remains so shy. His foster mom can give advice and keep in touch for support and suggestions.  Jonas will need a special adopter who understands he is still skittish and may always be shy.
