Nala

My story

Nala and her sister, Bailey, were surrendered to Misty Eyes due to a change in family circumstances. She`s a Shepherd-Lab Mix girl who weighs around 40 lbs. She`s a fairly typical rambunctious puppy -- full of energy and playfulness. She`s quite the jumper and can probably clear a 4 ft. fence. She`d do best with an active family able to provide both physical and mental stimulation to help with her energy. She loves to go on walks and runs with her foster mom. Nala is living with several dogs and doing really well. She loves to play! She has been diagnosed with a condition called mega esophagus. There are different levels of this and she so far seems easily managed with a couple medications and eating her meals in a baily chair. She is great about backing herself in her chair to eat! She eats ice and small amount of water to drink. We are about to test out a slow feeder water bowl to see how she does.
