MARIGOLD

My story

Oh sweet sweet Mari who has a heart of gold! Marigold is a three year old mixed breed (maybe German Shepard and golden retriever) who has so much love to give, with a little time and patience. Marigold was rescued from an LA shelter to make room for fire victims and she’s clearly been through a lot in her life. She has been decompressing and relaxing in a foster home and her true loving and sweet personality has come out. She is still weary of new people and doing new things but has shown her ability to warm up. Although she can be fearful, she’s never been aggressive or growled and is making progress everyday. She’s great with other dogs, cats, and kids although can be a little frightened by loud noises so would do better in an older kid household (the fosters have 9 and 11 year old boys). She’s house trained, good on leash, not destructive at all, and sleeps through the night well. She’d do best in a suburban or rural area that’s a little more calm. Can you give Marigold the chance to shine? With nurturing and patience, she'll reward you with loyalty and snuggles.
