My story

Hi there! I'm Ritz, and I'm here to tell you why I'm the best buddy you'll ever have. I’m about 2 years old and 62 lbs of pure sweetness. If you’re looking for a pup who makes everyone smile, then look no further! I’m sweet, happy, and just love being around people. I came from Georgia, where I was hanging out with my best friend in the shelter (see the last photo on my EHR profile page). Unfortunately, I was the only one who made it out because my buddy was euthanized due to lack of space. While I miss him dearly, I was lucky enough to avoid that same fate and I’m holding onto hope that my person (or people!) is out there, just waiting for a loveable guy like me. Here's what you should know about me: I’m super friendly and get along great with other dogs, so if you’ve got a furry friend already, I’ll fit right in. I love to play, cuddle, and just be with you wherever you are. Kids? I’m awesome with them too. I'm gentle, loving, and just the best companion. I come crate-trained and mostly house-trained! My foster mom says I adore EVERYONE I meet (I mean, who wouldn’t want to be my friend, right?). I’m just an all-around great dog. I do feel a little anxious when I’m left alone though, so having another dog to hang out with would make me feel even more secure. I love playing with toys, can entertain you with my goofy antics, and am eager to please. I’m neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, which means I’m all set to start my new adventure with you. My adoption fee is $415.
