My story

Have you ever wanted to adopt a dog and a comedy show and a toddler-sized lap warmer all in one? Then Snugglewumps, aka Snugs to his friends, is your dream come true. Snugglewumps is what happens when you mix the spirit of a galloping stallion with the heart of a squishy baby who just wants to nap on your legs. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and knows how to walk politely on a leash... unless, of course, he sees someone he loves. Then it’s “zoomie mode: activated.” He lives for playtime, especially with chew toys, and the more dramatic the tug-of-war, the better. He gets along well with other dogs, though he’ll occasionally try to negotiate a toy trade by just...taking it. Sharing is a work in progress, okay? Snugs loves older kids and teenagers, especially the kind who don’t mind a surprise couch ambush. His dream day? Morning zooms, a long walk to sniff the neighborhood news, toy time, and then sprawling across your lap like a warm, fuzzy thunderstorm of love. He’s an active boy who thrives with a family that matches his energy and his snuggle game. Bonus points if you call him baby names while feeding him treats—he takes them oh-so-gently like the good boy he is. If Snugglewumps were an animal other than a dog, he’d be a wild stallion. Not because he’s hard to handle, but because he’s majestic, strong, and just a little dramatic. But don’t worry—once he trusts you, he’s all yours. Horsepower and heart, wrapped in fur.
