My story

Meet Puppers! This handsome little fella is Puppers, and he’s ready to find his forever home! Puppers came from a tough situation—he was neglected and living outside in a chicken pen after his owner had to move into a nursing home. When he first arrived, he had overgrown nails and missing fur due to a tight collar. But today, Puppers is thriving and looking for a family to love him! Here’s what you need to know about this sweet boy: Age: Approximately 7-9 years old, but don’t let that fool you—he still loves to run around the backyard and play! Health: Puppers is up to date on all vaccines, has been neutered, and is heartworm negative (a true miracle!). He’s also on heartworm prevention. Temperament: He’s great with other dogs and even gets along with cats—he mostly just ignores them. Behavior: Puppers is kennel trained, food motivated, and has never been destructive in his foster home. He’s happy to sit quietly on the sofa and enjoy your company. Adoption Fee: $250 Contact: Wayne County Animal Advocates at wcaa.foster.adopt.app@gmail.com An approved application is required to meet Puppers and start the adoption process. Please share this post to help Puppers find the loving home he deserves. If you’re ready to give this resilient and loving dog a second chance, apply today!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Puppers, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
