My story

Meet Auggie!An adorable Border Collie mix with a heart of gold! His shiny coat is as soft as silk! Named after Augustus, which means magnificent or majestic, Auggie is certainly both of these. Here`s what we know about him while he`s been in foster:* House trained (able to hold it overnight)* Crate training in progress (currently wearing a cone from his neuter surgery, so a bit clumsy)* Great on-leash* People friendly, although a bit shy* Very loving and loves belly rubs - beautiful swishy tail wag* Gives kisses...for FREE!* Treat motivated and takes treats oh-so-gently; learning treat puzzle toys* Knows Sit, No - working on other commands (possibly Fetch - will bring his squeaky ball to me in the house, but we can`t play while right now)* Heartworm positive (currently in treatment and on exercise restriction)* Hasn`t been formally introduced to my resident dog, but lots of tail wags from both of them across the baby gate* Auggie is hoping for an active home that will give him lots of mental and physical exercise.
