My story

Hello! I’m Aqua! I’m one fabulous girl, full of love, and ready to find my forever home. I`m playful, sweet, and have a love for snacks. I’ve got the best wiggles, especially when I’m happy — which, let’s be real, is most of the time. When I’m in a good mood (which is always), I’ll be grinning from ear to ear and wiggling my whole body — you can’t help but smile along with me!One of my favorite things is playing with toys. I’ll show off my favorites and make sure everyone knows how much I love them. So, a little heads-up: If you visit me, come prepared with some toy compliments! And of course, I love a good compliment thrown my way too!I’m lucky enough to spend a lot of time in the office here at the shelter, and let me tell you, it’s one of my favorite places. I love visiting the staff, curling up on the couch, and just enjoying the time out of the kennel. It’s perfect for a girl like me who enjoys a little downtime while still being the center of attention! I’m not the biggest fan of other animals, so I’d be happiest as the only fur-kid in your life. I’d also do best in a home with older, calmer kids, where I can be your true princess and get all the love I deserve.So, what do you say? Come meet me today! I can’t wait to show you my big smile and wiggly tail in person!If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $135.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2024 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $9.20. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$7.20)Leash and collar included
