My story

Akasha is a gentle soul with a loving heart and a calm presence. After nearly a month in foster care, she’s truly settled into home life and is ready to find her forever family. She’s house trained, crate trained, and happiest when she’s curled up next to you on the couch or chasing her favorite toy in the yard.Though she’s naturally quiet—she rarely barks and only howls softly in her sleep—Akasha has a playful streak. She loves fetch, herding balls, and strong chew toys (and has a special talent for removing squeakers from soft toys!). She’s very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding, and she’s learning new skills every day, like calmly waiting to be invited out of her crate.A few things to know about Akasha:- Crate trained and sleeps peacefully in her crate or on a dog bed- Quiet and sweet with occasional bursts of zoomiesHouse trained and well-mannered indoors- Walks well on leash with continued improvement in redirection and “leave it” training- Needs to be your own and only pooch- Has lived with kids previously- Known to greet houseguests warmly in her current calm householdAkasha thrives in a peaceful environment and loves being part of the daily routine.
