My story

Six-year-old Turo is a world-class cuddler who wants to be with his people no matter where they go. He follows his foster mom everywhere in the house, even the shower. For a breed that’s famously averse to water, that’s the ultimate display of loyalty! In addition to spending time with his humans in wet and dry places, Turo’s other favorite things include riding in the car, going for walks, chewing on stuffed toys (including a stuffed dog that’s bigger than he is), and waking up his foster mom in the morning by sitting on her. Turo loves food, will sing and dance when his meals are being prepared. He’s a smart boy who has learned commands and is making progress on his housetraining thanks to the power of treat bribery! Turo’s ideal forever family will continue with his training, include him in as many family activities as possible, minimize his alone time, and be ready for nonstop snuggles. Although he tolerates other dogs, he isn’t very playful and we think he would prefer to be the only dog in the home.
