My story

Meet Landon Carter! He is a super love bug who is obsessed with toys, treats and other dog friends! Landon is quite the character and will show it to everyone he meets! He can be quite shy in his kennel and when first meeting new people but give it 60 seconds and you will have a new best friend. Landon is a staff favorite because of how much we work with him. He is a smart kid who definitely needs attention, training and lots of things to keep his mind busy. Landon is slowly learning how to deal with super exciting and super scary things that come up in life, just like the rest of us. The ideal home for Landon Carter is someone with the same excitement for life as him. Although Landon is not a puppy, he still thinks like one. Landon loves other dogs and is more than willing to go home with one as long as they can deal with a little rough housing. Landon is in our Mutts with Manners in facility training program. This program to give our long-term residents more enrichment and a chance to truly shine outside the shelter—showing who they are beyond the cards that they have been dealt. Landon is a bronze star meaning he knows the basic commands but still needs work in mastering them as well as other skills.
