BEAR

My story

Meet Bear, a lovable dog currently in foster care. He is house trained and also has an outdoor kennel where he does well, without trying to dig or climb out. He enjoys spending a few hours outside but is definitely more of an inside pup who loves to cuddle. Bear is crate-trained and knows commands such as sit, lie down, paw, and high-five. He’s still working on “stay,” but he’s treat-motivated and eager to learn. Despite his age, he still has the energy of a puppy, often getting excited and running around. On walks, he can pull a bit but overall does well on a leash. Bear loves car rides, though he has a habit of jumping from the front to the back when he first gets in. While he’s fine with some dogs, he can be particular about others and is food reactive towards other animals but not people. He loves attention and will happily accept pets from anyone he meets on his walks.
