My story

Meet Kirby! Kirby is a terrier/retriever/ pitbull mix with a goofy charm and a heart full of curiosity. This playful pup is as easygoing as they come—he’s happy to roll with whatever the day brings, especially if it involves a car ride (he’s a pro passenger!). Bruiser is a total sweetheart—he loves being around other dogs. He’s still a puppy, so he’s learning the ropes, but he’s already showing how smart and eager to please he is. Kirby’s also got a creative side: if he loses his toy ball, he’ll start scouting for a substitute… like your shoes! As a teething pup, he’s still figuring out what’s okay to chew (and what’s definitely not), so a little puppy-proofing will go a long way. He’s on the lookout for a forever family who can help him continue to socialize, work on training (yep, including house training!), and give him the exercise and love he needs to thrive. If you’re ready for puppy snuggles, laughter, and a little bit of chaos, Kirby might just be your perfect match. Kirby is an All-Star dog! His adoption comes with some extra benefits at time of adoption. Their adoption appointment includes a discussion with our Training Team, and they will go home with their very own no-pull-harness and a few enrichment goodies to help get them off to a good start! Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
