My story

Adoption Fee Covered + Free Training! Great news! Quinn's adoption fee has been fully covered by a generous supporter, and OPH is including six virtual training sessions with a certified trainer during the first 60 days to help set you both up for success! Name: Quinn Gender: Female Breed: Terrier Mixed Breed Age: 2 years Weight: 44 lbs Meet Quinn – Your Next Adventure Buddy! With her warm, soulful eyes and gentle demeanor, Quinn is a loving companion who brings joy wherever she goes. Quinn has a zest for life which makes her the perfect mix of cuddle buddy and energetic adventurer. About Quinn: Personality: Quinn is remarkably sweet, patient, and adaptable. She thrives on human connection, quickly forming bonds with those around her. While she loves people and enjoys social events, she needs to be the only dog in the home to feel her happiest. She LOVES her people and loves them hard. Daily Life & Activities: Quinn's day is filled with fun and adventure. She enjoys running, playing, and exploring, and she’s equally delighted to settle down with her beloved benebone chew toy for quiet time. At the end of the day, she’s ready to snuggle up on the couch for some quality relaxation. Training & Skills: Quinn is a smart pup who knows several commands, including “sit,” “four on the floor,” "place" and “wait.” She’s fully crate trained and housebroken and rides in the car like a faithful travel buddy should. Hook that seatbelt on and she settles right down and will ride for HOURS without a single complaint. She has wonderful leash manners and her food motivation makes her an eager and quick learner. She’s calm around city noises like trains and mail deliveries and never barks at neighborhood commotion. Family Life: Quinn has lived happily with a rambunctious 5-year-old child and would do well in a home with kids, as long as she has plenty of opportunities to release her energy. She loves the outdoors and taking a stroll down the street or on a path. However, Quinn is not a lover of other dogs and likes to maintain her space from them to feel secure and happy. Her ideal home is one where she’s the only dog and can enjoy her family’s undivided attention. Experience Level Needed: Quinn would thrive with any family or individual who can provide regular exercise, continued training, and lots of love. Her leash reactivity toward other dogs will require a family committed to working on her training with patience and consistency. She is one of many dogs in her foster home, however, she is not allowed playtime with the other dogs as she just can't share the humans. Her foster mom can provide you with a host of easy activities to engage with Quinn in that she loves which helps her settle even faster. Foster mom says a tired pup is a good pup. Quinn enjoys all types of games or activities. If you’re ready to welcome a loyal and loving companion into your life, apply to adopt Quinn today!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Quinn, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
