My story

UPDATE!&#226&#156&#168 This pretty girl is Delci! She was found as a stray with her siblings in rural Mississippi! She was scooped up by one of our fosters and is now thriving in her care. She’s  a gorgeous Lab/Cattle Dog mix but he’s more lab than anything! She’saround 6 months and 40 ish lbs. She is a very sweet and socialized girl. She would be great for just about any family. We do believe she will be a large sized adult. She is utd, spayed and ready for her forever home.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications!
